Assessment of Student Learning: Four tests will be given at announced intervals to help students assess their absorption of the material. These tests will be for student feedback only. A final exam will be a compilation of the previous tests and will be taken in August, 2010. Students must score 80% on the final exam in order to be given credit for 126 hours of instruction in play therapy. Learning methods: PowerPoint presentations, experiential exercises, reading and class discussion. Optional practicum in year two or students may practice skills in their own clinical setting.
